Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Ray Gerald was a senior investment officer at LM Capital Corporation, a Florida-based merchant bank engaged in ESOP valuations and buyout transactions and Mecco, Inc., an SBIC based in New York City, where he led or co-managed the acquisition of or investment in companies engaged in fastener manufacturing, broadcasting, music recording, and electronic components distribution. He also was a junior economist at the Council of Economic Advisors to the President of the United States where he contributed to the restructuring of the US stock securities exchange markets to their present-day form.

Ray also served as Chairman of the Associated Black Charities in NYC.

Ray has a bachelor’s from Howard University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
